Some people have strange ideas.
In Hong Kong and Taiwan (amongst other locations), you can find a restaurant called Modern Toilet. I kid you not, it's called Modern Toilet. Unlike most restaurants, you sit on toilets rather than chairs, and eat on sinks rather than tables.
The place is decorated with toilet-related items, and you also EAT from miniature toilets, urinals, and baths. Take a look at their special: ice cream!
What do you think? Would you eat here?
Personally, if I were in Hong Kong I would do it just for the hell of it. I'd just make sure I smell the food first!

Here is an interesting kinetic typography video. I absolutely love these types of videos and this one has an interesting poem to go along with it.
The poem is called Social Life, With Friends and was written by Kenneth Koch, an American poet, playwright, and professor. Watch the video (read by the author himself) and then continue on.
Now I wonder, is this actually true? Of these three may I only have two? I'd like to think that it is possible to have all three.
However, I do think that there is some truth in what Kenneth Koch has to say. There really aren't enough hours in the day. Perhaps you can have friends, lovers, and work/school but can you have all three successfully? What I mean to say is, can you really have a good relationship with your friends and your significant other and also maintain your career/good grades?
What are your thoughts?

This is probably one of the most insane videos I have ever seen. These are South Korean students cheering for their soccer team in a very unique way. You have to see this:

What is a moment? According to my handy dictionary, a moment is defined as being "a very brief period of time". It is also defined as being "an opportunity".
Now I found that definition particularly interesting. A moment is an opportunity for many things. It can be an opportunity to be happy, achieve your goals, and truly live. Or it can be an opportunity for less pleasant things.
Moments are what make up our lives and in this beautiful short film, we see various moments. I hope you enjoy it :)

Blog, I have missed you! Unfortunately, it's been more than a week since I updated. What is this madness? Was I not supposed to be updating DAILY? Oh well, we'll start again.
Yesterday, two of my friends and I got together and discussed writing (amongst other things). It was lots of fun and very inspiring! :) We also set a "goal" of having something relatively completed/presentable by the end of this summer. I'm looking forward to reading their stuff. I have the feeling that their work is going to be amazing, so hopefully I can live up to their level of awesome!
In about a week and a half, I leave for Trois-Pistoles, Quebec. Anxiety is definitely setting in, although I'm sure it will be fine. I've been reading posts on Facebook from people who did this program in previous years and it sounds amazing. Expect to see many posts from Quebec!
I'm not sure how the internet situation is going to be there, so I might not be updating daily. However, I will try to write my blogs in a Word document and then upload them when I get internet.
I will leave you with this photo of Trois-Pistoles. Enjoy!

This is currently my favourite video on YouTube. I must be really overtired because I find this absolutely hilarious.
I really should go to bed.

I just figured out how to have videos in this blog! Yay! Expect more videos and/or images in this blog :)

This is perhaps the coolest rendition of the main theme from Requiem for a Dream that exists. Take two really talented pianists, let them work together and this is what you get!
